Volunteer Resources & Engagement is proud to support volunteer programs within Nanaimo, Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
Volunteers in the Nanaimo/Oceanside area support Island Health patients, residents, clients, site visitors, and even staff through a variety of different programs.
A few examples include: activity volunteer (supporting games and social activities with Long-Term Care residents), social engagement volunteer (one-on-one social interaction with residents and patients) and clinic support volunteer (providing wayfinding and information to patients and clients visiting clinics within the hospital).
