Any time. Visiting between 10:00am-6:00pm is preferred, but not required.

Preparing for Your Visit
Take a tour of the facility you are attending. Ask questions about medications, billing, meals, visitations, and anything else that is on your mind.
You should also:
- Be clear about pick up and drop off times.
- Understand how billing works ahead of time.
- Complete any paperwork before you arrive.
- Cancel all community services for the duration of the stay.
- Label all client’s personal items (some locations have a labelling service).
- Check your location’s medication procedure.
- Be prepared to bring equipment you use at home such as walkers or custom items.
- Provide an information sheet about the client with some details on what they like and how to support them.
- Bring favourite photographs, blankets, and snacks to feel at home.
- Bring books, crosswords, and crafts the client enjoys.

During influenza season (typically December-March), to help protect patients from the flu, all visitors will be expected to wear a mask in our facilities if they have not had a flu shot. For more information, please read our Influenza Protection Policy.
Provincial policy requires all visitors to be informed: "Violence, foul language and abusive behaviours are not acceptable. Verbal threats or acts of violence will not be tolerated and may result in removal from this facility and/or prosecution."
Motorized Scooter Policy
The facility does not support scooters. The facility does support power wheelchairs, which may require an assessment.
Pet Policy
Residents’ pets can visit but not reside in the facility. Visiting pets must be well-groomed, well-behaved and have current vaccinations.
Pet visitation volunteers participate in our facility. Those pets have been through a training program to ensure they are resident friendly (for example St. John’s Ambulance Pet Visitation or Pacific Assistance Programs).
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted.
Any Other Amenities
Medications: All medications administered by staff.
Laundry service: Staff will launder the client’s clothes, but all clothing must be labelled. This facility does offer labelling service for a $35 fee.
