Salary & Relocation
Salary information for individual co-op opportunities can be found on the job opportunity posting. Generally the salary is posted as a range. Where the successful candidate is placed in that range will be based on previous work experience and education level (e.g. certificate vs. bachelor's degree, vs. master's degree).
Relocation assistance is sometimes available at the discretion of the hiring manager. This should be discussed at the time of interview.

Hiring Process
The hiring process may vary depending on the individual manager and the position but generally follows these steps:
1. manager screens applications
2. shortlisted candidates are contacted and interviewed
3. preferred candidates have references checked
4. job offer is made to the preferred candidate

Depending on the location of the student and individual preferences, the interviews will take place at an Island Health facility or the hiring manager may arrange a video or phone interview with candidates.
