Island Health’s Psychology Residency Program at Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health
Island Health is pleased to offer two, year-long psychology residency positions that provide training specifically focused on the development and refinement of skills required for clinical psychology practice with children, youth, and families. The program emphasizes evidence-based approaches to assessment and therapeutic interventions. Residents will have the opportunity to participate in rotations within both the mental health and rehabilitation services portfolios. It is a comprehensive year designed to train well-rounded clinicians versed in the core competencies to ethically practice psychology. The residency can be tailored to the resident’s training needs and goals.
