Pay parking resumes March 4, 2022
Effective March 4, 2022, pay parking will resume at all Island Health sites that previously had pay parking in place.
This bereavement support group for family and friends of MAiD recipients is available across Island Health’s service area and is a judgment free, safe, compassionate environment to share and express your feelings and emotions. This group is founded on a supportive culture of end-of-life dignity and freedom of choice.
When: 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. and 7 - 8 p.m.
Where: In the privacy of your own home by secure video link connection. Participants will receive a Zoom video invitation on the morning of each session inviting them to participate as they are able.
Who: Any family member or friend of a MAiD recipient on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
Sessions: Drop-in
Facilitator: Oceanna Hall is a Certified Specialist in End of Life and Bereavement Support and a member of Island Health’s Spiritual Health team. Oceanna has provided bereavement support to families and friends of MAiD recipients since 2017.
