Psychology Residency Program

Island Health’s Psychology Residency Program at Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health

Island Health is pleased to offer two year-long psychology residency positions that provide experiential training specifically focused on the development and refinement of skills required for clinical psychology practice with children, youth, and families. The program emphasizes evidence-based approaches to assessment and therapeutic interventions. Residents will have the opportunity to participate in rotations within both the mental health and rehabilitation services portfolios. It is a comprehensive year designed to train well-rounded clinicians versed in the core competencies to ethically practice psychology. The residency can be tailored to the resident’s training needs and goals.
