Whether it's intensive inpatient therapy or ongoing outpatient therapy, Island Health offers a wide range of adult rehabilitation services.

Rehabilitation works best when the patient, family and rehabilitation staff work together as a team.
The program primarily caters to adult patients experiencing spasticity caused by stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury.

The Intensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program (IORP) offers clinics in Victoria and Nanaimo for patients with moderate levels of impairment following a stroke and for patients with limb amputation.
Rehabilitation Services are available at acute care facilities across the region.
