Building Description

A seniors' apartment complex owned and operated by the Luther Court Society, a Christian organization dedicated to housing seniors with care and dignity. Luther Court is close to all amenities but still has a community atmosphere as it is situated in the Cedar Hill neighbourhood.

This building is a campus of care providing assisted living, residential care, adult day programs and independent housing.

Building Amenities

A business office, lobby, lounge area, library and newly renovated dining room are located on the main floor. Luther Court has a beauty salon/barbershop, laundry room available for tenants, as well as an outside garden.

Tenants must be 65+ years of age.

Luther Court is located very near to a variety of restaurants, grocery shopping, parks, medical services, pharmacy and banking institutions.

Cost

Residents pay 70% of their after-tax income which covers:

  • monthly rental accommodation
  • hospitality services: two meals and two snacks daily, weekly housekeeping, laundry, etc.
  • personal care
  • on-site emergency response system

Residents on income assistance pay a flat rate. Items not included as a part of the monthly fee include: telephone, cable, hydro, personal laundry, household and toiletry supplies, medications, personal care products and insurance.

Luther Court provides a wide spectrum of activities such as weekday devotions, exercise programs, yoga, mental aerobics, arts & crafts, movies & travelogues, nail care, fashions shows, choir, reading, van outings, birthday parties, bowling, gardening and community entertainers.
