Building Description
This is a purpose built assisted living addition to the site of the Wellesley, close to downtown Victoria. The building was constructed in 2006 with 3 floors of 21 suites. It is built to the highest standards and offers accessible accommodation in conjunction with all the services and amenities that The Wellesley and Retirement Concepts can offer. There is also a roof top garden and courtyard area.

Type of Accommodation
40 Island Health suites, all studios; kitchen area with apartment size fridge. Microwaves allowed. No hot plates or stoves.
Cost
Residents pay 70% of their after-tax income which covers:
- monthly rental accommodation
- hospitality services: two meals and two snacks daily, weekly housekeeping, laundry, etc.
- personal care
- on-site emergency response system
Residents on income assistance pay a flat rate. Items not included as a part of the monthly fee include: telephone, cable, hydro, personal laundry, household and toiletry supplies, medications, personal care products and insurance.
