Island Health and the Capital Regional Hospital District (CRHD) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) establishing a collaborative planning framework to evaluate the potential redevelopment of the former Oak Bay Lodge site in Oak Bay.
Starting conversations that save lives: expanding Caring Conversations Cards for the community
As communities across the region prepare to mark the 25th anniversary of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, Island Health is launching a community version of its Caring Conversations Cards, a resource designed to help people talk openly about substance use, reduce stigma and build understanding.
Saanich Peninsula Hospital parking will be expanded this summer
Construction is underway to expand parking for visitors, staff and volunteers. Work will occur in three phases to add approximately 100 more parking stalls to the hospital. The project is expected to be complete this fall.
