How to get a Referral:
Please speak with your Ophthalmologist to obtain a referral. The Medical Ophthalmology Clinic 5 does not accept referrals directly from optometrists or physician's offices.

Come in via the main entrance, take the blue elevators to the second floor. Clinic 5 is the first clinic on the right.

If you require extra assistance to ambulate, change clothes and/or for toileting, please ensure that a caregiver accompanies you to your visit.|
If you are driving, please allow for extra time, as parking space is limited.
If a translator is needed, bringing a family member or a friend to translate is encouraged. Island Health will provide translation services over the phone if required.
All appointment changes and/or cancellations are arranged through the ophthalmologist’s office.
You may have your eyes dilated; be sure to check with your ophthalmologist about possible driving restrictions.
